Installs an update that fixes the problem where the Presario 1200 Series models mentioned above do not power off at the Windows 98
shutdown message, "It is now safe to turn off your computer.". The PC may eventually go into Sleep mode, and when the Sleep button is pushed, it redisplays the "It is safe..." message. Or, if you press the Sleep button briefly, the PC will go into sleep. After pressing it again to restart, the "It is safe..." message will still be displayed. The only way to actually power off is to press the power button for more than 5 seconds. After this SoftPaq is applied, the PC will shut down normally.
